I Need to Reset QuickBooks Password. How Do I Do That?

The below steps will help you reset QuickBooks password –

Resetting Admin Password –

1.On the login window of QuickBooks Desktop, select I Forgot My Password.
2.Fill out your license number, name, email address, and other info on the form. Select OK. Follow QuickBooks guidelines to proceed.

Resetting User Password –

1.Sign in as admin, go to Company > Set Up Users and Passwords > Set Up Users.
2.Select the user that needs to change the password from the User List. Then select Edit User and enter a new password. Click on Next > Finish.

For QuickBooks Online –

1.Sign in and click the Profile Icon next to Settings. Then select Manage your Intuit Account > Sign in & Security. Select User ID, Email Address, or Password section.
